2019 Goals

Hello world and Happy New Year!

I hope you have set a good goal for 2019. Something that makes your heart swell and gives you goosebumps when you think of it. As my mentor always reminds me, “If your goal is not big enough to scare you, it’s not a real goal.”

I am delighted to share with you some really exciting news. Few weeks ago I decided to start publishing one of my stories on a digital platform called LetterPile, which I joint back in 2017. It is called Meet Me Once More and it started as one of my writing projects for the University of Oxford. Since then, the story has been shaping in my mind, becoming more vivid and interesting, what drove me to publish it. I thought it would be great fun to release a mini chapter every week and see what readers think. Here is the link Meet Me Once More. I am currently in week seven as I took a little break over Christmas.

My main goal for 2019 is to complete the first manuscript of my novel, currently titled Finding Elspeth, and get an agent, who would help me obtain a publishing deal. For me, this is big, scary and extremely exciting.

What are your goals for this year? Do they scare you? Think big. If you can see it in your mind, you can hold it in your hand! As Napoléon Bonaparte once stated: “Victory belongs to the most persevering.”
